How to Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your SiteProof account and all associated data directly from this page. The process is immediate and irreversible:

1. Review the information below about what data will be deleted
2. Type "DELETE" in the confirmation field below
3. Click "Delete My Account" to permanently delete your account

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently deleted immediately upon confirmation.

What Data Is Deleted

When you confirm deletion, the following data associated with your account will be permanently deleted immediately:

• Personal profile information (name, email, company name, branding settings)
• All project data (names, addresses, contact details, notes)
• All document data (invoices, estimates, reports, line items, signatures)
• All evidence media (photos, videos, annotations, GPS coordinates)
• All expense and payment records
• All inventory items
• Team memberships and team data associated with your account
• Subscription and billing information
• Device registrations and web session data

What Data May Be Retained

In limited circumstances, certain data may be retained for legal or operational purposes:

• Backup retention: Deleted data may persist in our cloud backup systems for up to 90 days after deletion before being permanently purged.
• Legal obligations: If required by applicable law, we may retain certain records (such as transaction logs for tax purposes) for the period mandated by law, typically up to 7 years. This data is anonymized and used only for compliance purposes.

Processing Timeline

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately upon confirmation. You will receive a confirmation once the deletion is complete.

• You will not be able to access your account or data after deletion
• You will be signed out immediately and redirected to the homepage

Important Notes

• Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Please export any data you wish to keep before confirming deletion.
• You can export your data at any time from the Settings page within the app.
• If you share projects with other users, those projects will remain accessible to other team members after your account is deleted. Your personal contributions (evidence, documents, expenses) within shared projects will be removed.
• Canceling your subscription does not delete your account. You must use this page to have your data removed.
